CDD Permits

A homeowner is allow to pull their own permit only if the property is homesteaded. They need to complete the homeowners affidavit application and submit it inconjunction with the building permit application.

The members of the City Commission and City staff cordially welcome you to the meetings. The agenda indicates the matters schedule for consideration at the meetings. If you wish to speak concerning any of these items when they are under consideration, please complete a "Request to Speak" form and submit to the City Clerk. Approach the microphone at the front of the Chambers when the Mayor calls your name. When you have been recognized by the Mayor, please state your name and address for the record before you present your comments. In order for everyone to be heard who wishes to speak, it is requested that you limit your comments to 3 minutes. Should you wish to speak concerning a matter that is not listed on the agenda, you may be heard during that part of the agenda that is listed as "Request from the Public". Please complete a "Request to Speak" form and submit it to the City Clerk. Approach the microphone at the front of the Chambers when the Mayor calls your name. When you have been recognized by the Mayor, state your name and address for the record before speaking on the subject you have in mind. Please Note: In accordance with the state law, an item not scheduled on the agenda may be brought forward by the general public for discussion; however, the City Commission will not be able to take any action at this meeting. If appropriate the item will be referred to staff or placed on a future agenda. The City auction is held once a year in the fall. Through out the year the City will surplus vehicles on EBay. A notice is posted on the main city page every time a vehicle is listed on EBay.

Vehicle replacement occurs at different intervals and varies according to the type of the vehicle. We use the Vehicle Rotation Program as a guide for the replacement of vehicles in the City fleet.

The service technicians position does not require A.S.E certifications, but the mechanic and master technician positions require A.S.E certifications

Yes,we offer annual memberships. We also offer memberships to non City residents.

Yes,our rental clubs are Nike. The cost is $18.00 for 9 holes & $30.00 for 18 holes.

Yes, A permit from the City is required for removal of any tree that has a DBH of 5 inches or greater. The only exceptions to this are for nurseries, certain

Yes, a permit is still required if the tree has a DBH of 5 inches or greater
|
|
|
DBH stands for “diameter at breast height” and means the diameter of a tree four and one-half (4˝) feet above ground level from the base of the tree, provided however, if the tree trunk forks below four and one-half (4˝) feet above ground level diameter measurement shall be taken one (1) inch below the fork of the trunk.

The owner of the property from which the tree was removed is responsible for restoration. At a minimum, this includes an inch for inch replacement of that tree(s) and a possible fine of up to $250.00 per inch.
